Rosemont, Ill., October 20, 2011— DMD President Roger Korman, Ph.D, delivered an email marketing presentation, entitled “Myths and Secrets of HCP Email – How You Can Overcome Them for Effective Audience Engagement,” at the Xel Digital Pharma East conference. More than 600 pharmaceutical brand managers and digital marketing experts attended the conference on October 17 to 20 at the Lowe’s Hotel in Philadelphia. Attendees rated Korman’s presentation as one of the top 10 of 60 presentations delivered during the four-day meeting.
In his presentation, Korman addressed eight myths related to email delivery, medical-legal review involvement during the creative process, and health care professional outreach techniques. He divided the responsibility for successful campaigns between the client and vendor, and he highlighted each party’s role.
